Sargasso Sea

    詳細資料

    • 介紹: The Sargasso Sea is a rare natural phenomenon in the heart of the North Atlantic Ocean. Situated in the oceanic gyre of the North Atlantic, it is perhaps most famous for being the world's lone sea without shores. It is believed to have been first sighted by Portuguese explorers, who first sighted Sargasso's seaweed bed in the early years of the 15th Century. Bordered by a number of ocean currents from all directions, its shoreline runs 3200 kilometers (1988.38 miles) long. The Sargasso Sea's waters are peculiar for their unimaginable clarity and intense blue color.
